Owner-builder Insurance Report

Owner builder insurance, sometimes called builders indemnity insurance, is required for building works, extensions, and new houses completed by owner builders, prior to the house being sold.

To complete the inspection and supply the documentation for the insurance company we need:

• A copy of the stamped plans 
• Compaction certificate (if applicable)
• A termite certificate
• Certificates of compliance
• Council building license

The next step in the process is to inspect the new home or extension to ensure that what has been built has been completed in accordance with the plans, that building and council requirements are met, and that the workmanship is to a good industry standard.

Our report, together with your proposal, can then be forwarded to your insurance company.
