Owner-builder Insurance Report

Owner builder insurance, sometimes called builders indemnity insurance, is required for building works, extensions, and new houses completed by owner builders, prior to the house being sold.

To complete the inspection and supply the documentation for the insurance company we need:

  • A copy of the stamped plans
  • Compaction certificate (if applicable)
  • A white ant certificate

The next step in the process is to inspect the building or area to be insured to ensure that what has been build has been done so in accordance with the plans, building and council requirements are met, and that the workmanship is to a good industry standard.

Our report, together with your proposal, can then be forwarded to your insurance company.
