Problem Investigation and Report

So you have a particular problem with your home; rising damp, cracks, stains on the ceiling, bows in the roof - you have had trades people out to check, but they all give you different methods of repair and most importantly different prices.

Our Registered builders will investigate the problem and provide a typed report stating:

• The cause,
• What needs to be done to rectify,
• How to go about conducting the repairs and
• What it should cost to have the problem rectified.

In this picture on the left, note that the corrugated iron roof is open to the weather. The client complained that the walls were damp where the walls met the floor. They thought it was rising damp, when actually the flashing was required over the open end of the roof to rectify.
