It&#8217;s a common misconception that the <strong>cost of heated floors<\/strong> is expensive and not worth considering, and whilst this can be true if you plan on installing them after your new home build, installing them during the build can be much cheaper than you think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Heated Floor Installation<\/strong><strong> Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you plan to <strong>install heated floors<\/strong> in your existing bathroom, it means you&#8217;re going to have to rip up your existing floor, and this is where the cost is added. Not only does this mean that you will have to replace your floor, but there is a high chance of damage to other areas of your bathroom as well, which adds to your renovation cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You must also consider your existing plumbing and how your new flooring will be integrated with those systems. Installing a heated floor this way (without doing a full bathroom renovation) can purely come down to the fact that it is a want over a need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Renovations<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are planning a bathroom renovation and are going to get your current bathroom, you shouldn&#8217;t need to worry about additional costs for services such as plumbing, as the only additional cost you should have is the heating system itself. You also won&#8217;t need to worry about the cost of cosmetic damage that may occur when trying to fit the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>New Home Builds<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;re building a new home, it will reduce the <strong>cost of heated floors<\/strong> dramatically. When installing a heated floor system in a new build, the labour cost can be reduced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When considering any cost, it is always worth thinking in terms of investment. When you plan your heating systems in such a way that they are operating at maximum energy efficiency, you are going to save money in the long term. There are minimal savings associated with having heated floors installed in existing bathrooms due to the cost of installation and integration. However, when those same systems are installed in a new build, the projected savings are considerably higher. Your bathroom installation can be planned around your heated floor, ensuring it&#8217;s done most cost-effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Heat Distribution<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Planning a new heated floor is always preferable during a new home build, and it&#8217;s important to consider the best way to distribute the heat in the most effective way possible. The same applies to heated floors in a bathroom.
